Bissonette’s Sew & Vac has been serving the Copper Country since 1959. Bob Emmert began working for the original owner’s grandson, Bob Therrian, in 1986. Bob and his wife Holly purchased the business in 1989.
Bissonette’s is a family business, an independent sewing machine and vacuum sales and service center. Independence means that we are accountable only to you, our customers, not to some corporation’s bottom line. Our recommendations come from carefully listening to you, our friends and neighbors, and understanding your specific application. We service our own products, so we only want to sell quality products that will delight you.
We also service products sold by other retailers. We treat your problems like our own. We will always let you know what we would do if it were our machine. Is it worth repairing? Should it be replaced? And if you do decide to purchase a new vacuum or sewing machine, we’re happy to help you select the machine that best fits your needs, even if that’s not one of the machines we carry.
Stop in our showroom anytime Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or give us a call at 906-482-1288. Call ahead for Saturday hours. We’re happy to give free estimates on repairs, just ask.
